Senior Infants enjoying a game of Snake Relay where they worked as part of their team to pass the ball beneath their legs and try to get the front as quickly as they could. It required a lot of team work and co-ordination.
The children had a ball playing Court Cleaner where they developed their throwing and gathering skills. Both teams worked very hard to gather the bean bags and throw them back to the opposing team. The children were having so much fun they didn't even realise how much exercise they were doing.
This activity was called Sit, Throw, Catch and thats exactly what the children had to do. Its harder than you would think but this group of senior infants were well able for the task. We had great fun trying to stand up and catch the ball in one movement.
